lake of Kournas in Crete is 9km away from the Villa Aloni.Covers a total

The
Venician lighthouse is situated in the old harbour at Chania 37 km away
from Aloni Villa. From the original Venician lighthouse which dominated
the entrance of the harbour, only the base survives today, built with
the same sandstone as the Walls. The present light-house, rebuilt during
the Egyptian occupation (1821-1841), is different from the original
and is rather reminiscent of a minaret, as regards its shape and the
inside stone staircase leading to the balcony and the glass tower.
A
very distinctive area of the Old Town is the harbour itself and generally
the seafront ("akti"). Akti Tompazi, Akti Kountouriotou and
Akti Enoseos (marina) all feature several historical buildings and a
thriving nightlife.
The
gorge of Samaria is situated in the National park of Samaria, in the
White Mountains in West Crete about 70 km away from Aloni Villa.Samaria
is said to be the longest gorge in Europe. It is16 km long, starting
at an altitude of 1250m and taking you all the way down to the shores
of the Libyan sea in Agia Roumeli.The Samaria National Park always opens
to the public at the beginning of May.
One
of the most beautiful beaches in Crete is situated in the town Georgioupolis
6 km away from Villa Aloni.
